Prostate-Help is undergoing an update. A new web site is being developed that is a combination of all of the older Prostate-Help web sites. It has a number of features that make it far easier to locate what you are looking for. We have attempted to follow an order from the pre-diagnosis to the diagnosis, through Advanced disease with all of the information that goes along with prostate cancer.

There are really three main purposes to this new site to better educate the reader with over 130 pages of prostate cancer information.

1. The information contained within the site itself. We have "Categories" on every page to assist you in moving around. In the left hand column there is a listing of Pages in that Catagory - kind of a "Table of Contents". Then there are "subPages" they are listed at the top of the respective Page. At the botton of every page there is a clickable listing of every page on the site - at this point over 130 pages.

2. The links to all kinds of information that will give you the latest and greatest information. See the "Category" above "RSS / Blogs /Books / Links". The Newsletter that gives you the very latest info is part of this attempt to bring you the latest information. The "Newsletter", RSS and BLOG links usually give the latest information. The Newsletter will also keep you up to date - but a few days delay.

3. The "Ladies Only Forum" which is a combination of hand-holding, education, latest information, help and support from ladies who have been there done that. See The "Ladies Only Forum" in the Categories of the new site. They are simply wonderful.

Our Mission

We are dedicated to educating women about Prostate Cancer; its treatments and side effects - preparing them to better care for their loved ones throughout the course of their illness. A wealth of information, advice and research is offered to women regarding possible treatments their loved ones may consider in consultation with their medical team. Innovative ideas based on adaptations from personal experiences are also discussed.

A safe place is provided to help deal with both medical and non-medical concerns, and also the emotional and life style changes that accompany the diagnosis of Prostate Cancer. Prostate Cancer is our main priority, and all other discussions, although important, are secondary to our main focus. We believe that 'Knowledge Is Power'!


The Prostate-Help "Ladies Only" Support Forum can be accessed by clicking on Prostate-Help Forum but you should read this site before you access the Forums.

Remember this forum is for Ladies only (we no longer have a forum for men with prostate cancer) and the lady must be connected now or in the past with someone diagnosed with prostate cancer. Could be a father, husband, boyfriend, relative or friend. Therefore the only two conditions are:

1. Must be a lady.
2. Must have a close connection to a man who has or have had prostate cancer.
